I don't like my truck right now. I had a difficult practice today. Dave McCarty and the guys are making adjustments to make it better. I'm sure we'll be fine for the race once we are finished tweaking some things. Just right now the truck is not doing what we need it to do. I have confidence McCarty can get the No. 75 Silverado where we need to be on race day.

I knew he was back there just playing with me. I figured he was just biding his time and not hurting his tires. With eight laps to go, I said I was going to have my hands full with Ted Musgrave.

Not only am I going to Daytona to test to get ready, for me I am going to get acclimated with a new crew chief. This will be our first time to work together. Been to the shop, but it will be the first at the racetrack.

The biggest mistake people make is forgetting to report interest on a savings account.

They're making them more like the trucks. The trucks push a giant hole in the air, and we can really race each other. That's what NASCAR wants with this car.

Through the year, you only have one shot at Daytona. Your career is never complete unless you won at Daytona. It is weird that we haven't been then in a year, but man, when I drive though the tunnel in January, it's like magic.
